The festival "Martianopol - life in the ancient city!" is international, including not only Bulgarian participants, but also groups from abroad. A pleasant atmosphere with many surprises and additional attractions that revive the magic of Marcianople. During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy numerous attractive re-enactments and spectacular Roman battles from the time of the conquest of Thrace. What's more, the lavish program includes the Roman-Dacian Wars, displays of Roman and barbarian equipment, slingshot shooting and military rituals from the history of the ancient city of Marcianople. Finally, visitors will learn about Roman cuisine, as well as ancient Roman customs and traditions.
